With head coach Shawn Cooper away on national duty with the T&T women’s team at the CONCACAF Championship in the USA, defending champion Presentation College of San Fernando will hope to make it six wins from as many outings when the Shell/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League Premier Division continues today from 3.40 pm.

Coming off a narrow 1-0 away win against East Mucurapo at St Anthony's College ground, Westmoorings on Saturday last, Cooper’s last match at the helm before he left with the team, Presentation, leader with maximum 15 points, will be at home to promoted Valencia at Union Hall under the supervision of assistant coach Dunston Williams.

Valencia, on the other hand, has one win from five matches, a 3-1 defeat of St Mary’s College and will be considered heavy underdogs to put an end to the southerners perfect start to the season.

Former two-time champion Naparima, two points behind in the second spot, will also be at home for the visit of another promoted team, Bishop’s High, which is rooted to the foot of the 15-team table with a mere point, levelled with Fatima College.

While the top two teams should pick up easy wins, a keen battle is expected at San Juan North Secondary ground in Bourg Mulatresse, where San Juan North which dropped its first points in four matches in a 1-1 draw at Trinity College Moka will entertain the surging Carapichaima East, fifth with nine points.

Elsewhere, three North Zone derbies are on schedule, with St Anthony’s at home to St Mary’s College in the “Battle of the Saints”, East Mucurapo clashing with Mucurapo Road neighbour Fatima and up at Moka, Maraval, Trinity College entertains Queen’s Royal College.

In the day’s other fixture, St Augustine, coming off of two straight defeats heads to Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre to face St Benedict’s.
